Laurelee Rubsch, DVM
As a lifelong Louisville native, Dr Rubsch began her veterinary work early volunteering at hospitals She was granted early acceptance to Auburn where she received her doctor of veterinary medicine in 1998. War Eagle! She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association and the Greater Louisville Veterinary Medical Association.
She brings a passion for animals and their owners and understands the deep bonds between the two. Communication is a key to that locks that bond together.
My favorite aspect of a mobile practice is the one-on-one time spent with my clients and patients in the comfort of their own home. I enjoy educating clients about veterinary medicine and following my patients through a lifetime of wellness. We learn, laugh and grow together. – Laurelee Rubsch DVM
Kristilee Williams
A real estate agent by trade and Dr Rubsch’s sister, Kristilee came abord during the pandemic to join the mobile vet team. She uses her touch not only to assist Dr Rubsch but she helps to calm and comfort your pets in the comfort of your own home. She owns 4 cats and 2 dogs herself, so she truly understands the bonds between owners and pets.
Michelle Sledge, LVT
Michelle earned her veterinary technician license in 2000. She worked as a technician in an emergency practice in Louisville, then with Dr. Rubsch for many years at an AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) practice. Since joining Dr. Rubsch in 2011, she has been given a new perspective of veterinary medicine and enjoys twice monthly surgery time and building relationships with clients in the home environment.
We are able to see the animals in their own environment, find behaviors and problems they may hide in a veterinary hospital and develop a true partnership of patient care. It’s been a great change of pace! -Michelle Sledge LVT
